I had an 07 Quest for 6 months and the only problem I had was the passenger side door (non powered) wouldn’t open. I have a feeling it had something to do with the child safety switch (door wouldn’t open on the outside but would on the inside when unlocked after we started playing with the switch)
I got my 08 Quest last week (72,000 miles), things I have fixed so far: RSS speaker dead, windshield fluid sprayer clogged, updated the navigation system.
Other problems I’ve found: Passenger side back window won’t open (found that this morning), AC works great and blows strong except it will ONLY blow strong – the switches register that I’ve turned it down but the air stays on high speed. When I try to turn the whole thing off it just redirects it to my feet. I’ve got a new AC blower regulator/resistor to put in soon as I figure out where it goes…
When the AC (actual AC not just the fan) is running it will squeal and after I got the fan to go off last night it is making a high pitched noise so the AC compressor is probably going out too.
Other than those few issues I’m an inch or two too tall for it lol (almost 6 foot). I have the seat as far back as it’ll go and felt like I was driving a clown car home from the dealership. My hubby found the pedal button before I did and I have them moved all the way back. Now I just feel like a 6′ woman in a car designed by short people. 🙂
Aside from some missing/broken pieces (‘fixed’ with Gorilla Glue by the previous owners/dealer) I got some seriously deep gouges in my side view mirror on Monday complements of some jackass in a big truck (I assume) trying to park in our little lot :\
