I’m having almost the same problem. Getting the rev’s up higher, I get inconsistant revs up and hesitations. Check Engine light started flashing. Code read indicates cylinder misfire on random cylinders, and o2 sensor problems.
Just got a quote on $1500 to replace the ECM.
Funny, cause I just had the ecm body out and in my hands after watching the very informative Youtube video on waterproofing the module.
I had corrosion all over the bottom, and the one bolt broke making it impossible to check the actual ECM board without drilling out that bolt. :/
Maybe I’ll try having a look at the actual ECM printed circuit board before I give the go ahead.
