The outside door handle would not open the door. We could open the door from the inside. A bit inconvenient but worked. I figured the cable broke or some mechanism for the outside handle. But, before I could get it fixed my wife thought by sliding the “child door lock” to the lock position it might help. Now we cannot open the door from the inside. We now know that the child proof lock works!
How do I remove the door panel to access inside works? The only bolts noticable were the two on the handle and when I removed them, still could not even remove the upper handle. No other access points or screws or bolts are noticable. The trim peice seems very secure as well.
