The back up waning system on our 2004 Quest has stopped working. The light indicating it is turned off stays on all the time. Prior to this occurring, the sensor was making an unusual sound (like the buzzer was worn out or something). Any ideas on how to correctly dignose and/or fix the issue are appreciated (just want to try and do it myself before taking it to the dealer).

When mine went out like that it was a defective buzzer.

    Thanks.
I found other links to this same issue in this forum, ordered the replacement buzzer from E-bay and installed it. It’s back up and running as normal again. Total cost for an original replacement including shiping was $46.
