I fried my radio by hooking up 24 volt battery charger to my 2006 Quest van. Smelled burnt wires but couldn’t see smoke. Display works but radio won’t pickup stations. CD player still works as well as sound on the cd player. Is there a seperate tuner? Could I maybe blown a fuse in the radio?

A 12 volt charger? Or did you really hook up a 24 volt charger?
Did you put the negative on something other than the battery terminal as indicated in the manual…?

I actually put 24 volts into the system from an industrial charger. hooked positive and negative to the battery terminals.

haven’t figured it out yet. I wonder if I fried the antenna as everything seems to work. I want to pickup an old radio at a junk yard but haven’t called around yet.
