I have a 2005 Quest SE. I’m having trouble getting the heat vent to blow any air out the dash or floor. It does defrost and the rear vents seem to be blowing air out fine. It’s not a cold engine thing, because this occurs even after driving for more than 30 min and the temp gauge looks fine. If anyone has had this problem or has any suggestions about how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

Most likely the in cabin air filter is stopped up.
I had the dealer replace mine a while back, it was costly with materials/labor, around $150.
I’ve read that it is a real bear to replace that filter. But, my filter was black and full of stuff, so, at least it works in filtering the air…

I just had my cabin filters replaced at my local Texaco Express Lube for $89.

It is a bit of a pain to replace, but once you do it, it much easier second time around. I bought a replacement at Napa for around $25.
