I have a 2004 Quest 3.5SL
I just got a flashing Service Engine Soon display while travelling at higher speeds on the freeway.
Coming home and manually checking the codes I got the following:
P0300 – Cylinder misfire, random cylinder
P1800 – Variable intake air system control solenoid valve circuit
P1051 – Air fuel ration sensor 1, heater control circuit low bank 2
P1168 – Closed Loop Control Function Bank 2
the P1168 is referenced in a service bulletin ( http://engine-codes.com/uploads/nissan/NTB04-024.pdf )
Should I pursue replacing the O2 sensors first?
The hesitation is most likely due to misfire. Perform power balance test first. It’s in the FSM. O2 sensor issue only gives bad fuel consumption. VIAS is probably last. Although as a mechanical device, the power valve actuator may be stuck from dirt accumulation.
