I have a 2007 Quest SE and need to glue the tail light cover back on. Can someone suggest me what kind of glues I should use?
Thanks a lot!!
If you’re referring to the Clear plastic cover that goes on top of where the bulbs actually reside, then it’s a sticky weather stripping type material. No Glue.
Mine came loose when changing a bulb, and now i lost the clear piece. Dealer wants $203 for the whole assembly.
Any idea’s where I can purchase just the clear piece. 2007 Quest SE
Can you be more detailing of sticky weahter stripping type material?
I know the material of tail light’s cover is made by acrylic which means not all glue will be working with it, probably silicone glue? Last time I detroyed one tail light becasue I used a quick try glue and actually it didn’t work at all but also made the cover all finger print even on the chrome light. Then I bought a whole assembly from ebay costed $120. Some were cheaper but you might not want that.
Don’t know what else to call it, but that’s what I saw when my two pieces came apart.
Quick search though, check out these two sites for names of adhesives to use.
