We are having a rear bearing type noise(romp, romp, romp) coming from the right rear of our 2008. Are the rear hubs a pain to replace.
Also with our 2008, we have the low pitch rumble around the 2000rpm range. I see it is a problem with older models but haven’t seen anything on the 2008.
Thanks so much,
It should be fairly easy. there are 4 retaining bolts (accessible from behind the spindle) that retain the hub-bearing to the spindle. Of course, the tire and brake assembly will need to be removed first, but the overall job (provided you’re mechanically inclined and have tools to do so) should take no more than an hour per side, give or take..
