I was tired of the hubcap look and had a set of 18″ wheels from my old 03 Murano in the garage so yea. I took it to the local tire shop and bought new tires for it and had them mounted on. The handling and feel improved dramatically.

Did the same thing on my 06 Quest with 07 Maxima SE 18″ rims. Mada a huge difference in the ride and looks way better. Nice.

235/65 – 16 is not the best substitution. Better off with 235/60 – 16. MOre selection with this size tire. The 235/65 causes the speedometer to register slower. Also a decent tire shop would recommend 235/60 instead of the 235/65. Been there, done that.

    Here’s a link to a tire size calculator: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp?action=submit

Why not use the OEM size? Plenty of selection in that size including Yokohama Avid TRZ, Michelin Primacy, Toyo Versado, etc.

I used 225/50/18..I think that I could have gone with 55’s but I’m definitely happy with the results.
