I love my quest just turned 305k, replaced timing belt, plugs, wires, and distributor the whole thing. Have no way to read codes, when it runs it sounds off you can rev up engine and it smooth out, then at idle its bad again. Any ideas I’m running out of money!
    Thanks

Was it idleing rough before the belt change?

If yes, you might need to replace the IACC solenoid.

I will check it out tomorrow, thanks for the idea, it was running a little rough at higher speeds nothing like it is now.

Or, try a throttle body cleaning.

Is there a local vendor who can read the codes for you?
    Double check your vacuum lines?
I know when I cleaned my throttle and upper intake, it helped smooth out the idle.
You’re not missing the small section of rubber hose off the EGR, are you?
A high RPM can tend to mask the rough idle symptom.
You mentioned also replacing distributor. Did you reset the timing?
