I just bought a 300 pound power off-road wheelchair which I want to carry around in my 98 villager.
I have used sturdy 2 x 4 pieces of wood in the past as a ramp for the chair into a pickup truck bed, but I’m worried that if I do the same thing with the villager, it might crush the back bumper.
Should I be concerned about this?
In my opinion, the rear bumper cover of these vans is not sturdy enough to support the weight you think about giving to use it as a ramp.
