Hi I have a 96 quest the problem is the ac. the rear is cold. the front is hot. I have heard that Ford made the system and that it has two evaps. One for the front and one for the rear. I replaced the accumulator and pulled a vac, then charged the system. Two low pressure lines going through the firewall. one cold the other not. Has any one had experience with a similar problem ????

I need to know what to look at for my problem. The driver's window goes down but not up. The auto-down feature works as it is supposed to.

I can apply 12v to the motor directly and by reversing the polarity I can get the window to go up or down smoothly with no problems.

Does this point to a bad switch or is there a relay in the circuit that may be the problem? TIA

We have a 2007 Nissan Quest with side power door. My wife is driving and our 3-year old son in the car seat next to the power door. While my wife is backing out of the garage, my son presses with his toe the button to open the door. The door starts to open and is damaged when it hits against the side of the garage as the car is moving. Our son was unharmed.

Have a 95 Quest with 212,000 miles, in the warmer weather the car has a hard time starting but starts up fine in cooler weather. Also recently check engine light comes on going up hills and goes off after leveling off. Also while on a trip last week while driving down the road at about 40mph the motor shut off. After about 40 min it restarted and ran fine for trip home, over 200 miles. Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated. About to replace ignition coil, found some corrosion where wire plugs in from distributor cap.

Just bought an '04 Quest, and the plastic headlight covers are fogged/clouded pretty bad. The dealer said I could buy replacements ($100+ per side), but that it would probably happen again as (according to him) this is a design flaw. Does anyone know of any tricks to clean this in lieu of dropping $200-300 on a set of new ones? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the risk of jinxing it, I just thought I'd post a happy Quest experience for once. We bought a used 04' SE with everything including navi, dual screen DVD and the crazy rouge (red) interior which we've grown to love. It had 100,000km on it when we bought it just over a year ago and we've put 30,000km of TROUBLE FREE motoring on it since then. Other than having the ECM checked (which was fine thank heavens), it's been a excellent van which, while too extreme for some, stands above out from the boring "cookie cutter" alternatives.

While driving the van yesterday, the brake and the battery light indicators turned on. I checked the battery charge and the brake fluid level and they are both OK. Reset the Electronic Computer Unit by disconnecting the battery for about half hour but to no avail. I read in this forum that a member replaced his top alternator bracket to fix the problem. I am awaiting reply from him on how to do this. Does anyone come across something like this ?
Any advise on this matter is highly appreciated, Thank you very much in advance.

When I start my 2005 Quest, there is a loud clicking sound coming from the back of the van in the ceiling area. It also does this when I turn on the air condition. Anyone have an idea what it could be?

I have a 05' 3.5 SE and having 2 particular issues. 1) The interior lights have stopped working and 2) The left hand driver side window when using the "double click" to close the window once it reaches the top it comes back down about 5 inches or so.

Anyone help?
