Fuel Pump

1993 - 1998 Nissan Quest

I just bought a 1995 Quest XE that had been sitting for about a year and a half. The engine looks good, and the fluids are okay (yes, I know the fluids need changed befor e I drive it), but it won't crank. It'll try to turn over, but no fuel is getting to the engine. I'm pretty sure that the fuel has just evaporated from the system and once I get fuel back to the engine, it'll run (it was running just fine before it was parked).

Is there anywhere or anyone with information on how to hand prime the fuel pump?

Thanks
J

Fuel Pump

I have the same vehicle, just change the fuel pump, there is no other way around. It happened to me once.

So it Will crank, just won't

So it Will crank, just won't turn over(start). The fuel pump is electric, turning the key on for 5 seconds then back off and repeating 4 or 5 times will prime the system, plus make sure it is cranking at the right speed.
