Sun visor fell off!

My wife was driving and the sun visor fell off. Has this happened to anyone else? Normal, Not normal?

I know this thread is dead, but..

this happens to me on a semi-regular basis. The visor just snaps into the grommet on the roof of the vehicle, and after several times of pulling the visor down for use it just pops free. Normally it's still snapped into the bracket on the right hand side so this isn't a problem, but one time I swung it over for side window use and it fell completely free, just hanging by a cord. That was definitely a surprise and a driving hazard, so now I always check before I use the visor.

One of these days I'm just going to use some Gorilla Glue to glue it in place.

Ok, I'll just take it in for service. I just hate to pay the $50 deductable for something like this.
