Hard Turning while parking

Have a 2004 SL and while parking and backing up at low speeds I have a hrad time sometimes turning the wheel. I really have to turn the steering wheel hard to get the van in a parking spot. Anyone have this problem and what did you do to fix? Have an appt Tuesday for the dealer but would like to take a look before they do. Thanks

Wish I could help, but it has never happened to our van. It is really frustrating to see everyone having these bad experiences. Our van must really have been one of the gems. It never had a major problem, but not it's body is twisted so badly from getting hit in the rear that it can't be used. Let us know what the dealer came up with.
