I Pod hook up

i got an 06 quest se. i tried to hook my ipod though the aux on the dvd player and use the controls above the driver sliding door but all it does is make a little thump noise. also when i put it on aux it turns on the sat and tries to aquire a signal ( we dont have sirius hooked up anymore) is there something im doing wrong? thanks

Controlling Ipod

Are you trying to control your iPod through the rear controllers? If that is what you are trying to do, I'm sorry to say that you cannot do that in this particular system. You can only listen to what the iPod is playing, but you cannot control the iPod using the rear controls. One clue if the vehicle has the capability to control iPod via vehicle controls is when you connect your iPod via USB connector, and Quest doesn't have that...
