warning lift gate opened when I turn right
2005 quest se with auto lift gate
When I turn right, I get the warning lift gate opened and a beep. After I stop turning, warning clears. No warning driving foward or turning left. very weird.
I took a look at the lift gate assembly but I don't where is the sensor.
Anyone seen this?

more than likely the pinch
more than likely the pinch sensors on either side of the rear hatch towards the top, looks like a rubber hose attached to plastic, check to see if its loose we had this issue and both were replaced by nissan
