2005 Quest 3.5S - Replacing CD Player

I have the 2005 Nissan Quest 3.5 S with the factory installed CD Player. I am looking to replace it with an aftermarket CD Player that can play Mp3. Any recommendations? Also, how difficult is it to replace it? Would we need any special harness once I remove the existing factory CD player?
I tried crutchfield but wasn't able to find much information. It looks like many aftermarket systems can be installed - but it also warns me that we need to fabricate a harness for correct fit.
Any responses/advice is greatly appreciated

Easiest thing to do is go to a shop like Best Buy where they will charge you $50 to install the new CD player.
Or you can try these instructions: http://www.nissanhelp.com/diy/quest/projects/nissan_quest_radio_removal.htm

Replacing CD player
I didn't even bother replacing a CD player, I bought an ipod kit from ebay, took me about 2 hours to install it, the best investment I had ever done, it charges my ipod, plays it, and it uses the Satellite input behind the radio.. flawless...

Jonatan what ipod kit did you buy can you post the link? I have an 06' and I want to do the same with the radio.

it works fine, this one charges, and connects audio from the base to your stereo via your satellite plug, it's fairly easy to install, it took me 2 hours. I pulled power out of the socket inside the front compartment, under the CD player. Let me know if you need any other help.. jonatancastaneda@yahoo.com.
