2004+ Nissan Quest

Hello,

I am looking fo information on where I can find an aftermarket DVD player to replace my factory installed one. My wife killed it by spilling a milk shake on it. Anyway, the replacement one will cost way too much from the dealer so I ws wondering if anyone would know how I can find a replacement that would be essentally a plug-n-play. I copied the following info from the player incase anyone knows what to do: Model: 281845Z110 Ref No: CN-VN63912. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appericiate it. Thank you.

Rob

Myron & Davis

Myron & Davis make the OEM display and DVD player. I believe the unit you are looking for is AD212.

Myron and Davis link

Good morning everyone,

Just to let you all know, the specific link causes my browser to lock up with a script error (I'm on Mac/Safari) and in the end I had to force quit and relaunch my software. I suspect a broken site for their company. Be careful if you go straight to this specific link.

Gavin.

RE: Request for Info => replacing factory DVD

Same thing happened to me except it was coffee. After completely disassembling the drive 4 times attempting to clean the sirup out of it I've given up. My wife wants to put a replacement system in but I want the OEM integration (no FM modulators). Did you find a solution? Our dealer said there were no replacement DVD from Nissan. Did you find a solution?

CC AUDIOVOX

Circuit CIty sells a Audiovox that will work. Its like $80, it uses the ir blaster so you can use a remote on the screen and I think the rear buttons will work also. I know its discountinued so not all the stores have it on display so they may have to look in their wharehouse. If youo cant find it let me know I will post the model #. The new model may work also its ADV AVD400A and its available online for $139.99

RE: CC Audiovox

Hbinau,

I looked at the AVD400A manual and the connectors don't look exactly plug-n-play with the factory DVD harness. Can you provide some more information on hooking up to factory wiring?
