Towing with an 02 Quest?

Anybody do any towing with their Quest? Ours does not have the towing package. I'd be adding a decent hitch and a transmission cooler and using it to tow a 1400-1500lb pop-up. It's on a class 2 hitch/trailer...and with the van/camper supplies loaded will probably be 2000+lbs. The family wieghs @ 450lb collectively. Any responses re: successes or regrets are appreciated.

Towing

I tow an open trailer with an MG on it, about 3000lbs in total. I have a class 3 hitch and I love it. I did treat the quest to new rear shocks and springs before I went down the towing road, but had no problems before or after, just at 120k, well, you know.

Hi,
I tow a pop up with a 2001 Quest. All I had to do was add the tranny cooler and rear air bags to prevent sag. All said and done, it tows pretty well.
