This past holiday weekend we took the family in our first long excursion in the Quest. Luckily the kiddies slept most of the time, from Cincinnati, Ohio to Baltimore, Maryland. Overall it was a great experience, must nicer than our previous trips in a Honda Element. Far smoother, more spacious and comfortable. We averaged a surprising 24 MPG! Oh the way back home we had to haul some heirlooms with us, so the rear seat was put down and the cargo room worked out nicely!

I should probably also note that the weekend prior to that we had a Quest rental while in Texas for 7 people. Since we had small kids, this was the most experience I've had with converting the middle seats to the floor, or raising them alot. It was a snap. We won't be doing it often ourselves for a few more years, but its nice to know how easy it was for 7 adults (1 handicapped) to get & out of the van on several trips.
