After Market DVD

Well it took me a while but finally, I bought the 7in Kenwood eXcelon KVT-819 DVD LCD Monitor Receiver and had it installed. Right now I have a rectangular player in a round console, so my next step is to get some fiberglass fabric and try to round everything back out soon and then paint the whole thing glossy black. And the 7 in screen is too small for the family yes but, that one is just for the navigation. Family screen comes later.

Anybody have any experience in installing running boards on a SE?

thanks!

ECU software.

Trying to poke around and increase performance a bit. anyone seen a website or source that has info on how to change the ECU for increased HP to the wheels. I found some for the 350Z but not the Quest. I have a 07 model and i know if I can locate the sofeware and adapter I can change the engine performance profile to up Horse power. Tweaking the bottom and midrange power will increase MPG's some what.

I am working on changing the air cleaner and snorkle as well as exhaust. at 18.3 MPG it is not fun as a daily driver.

Anyone installed Myron & Davis in 2007 Quest??

The salesman that sold us the van told us that the units could be added after the purchase. We have not found this to be true thus far. We have purchased the two monitors but can not find anyone locally to install. All say we have to purchase from them and that Nissan Quest after market installs are quite a challenge. We were initially told that the wiring is there just install the monitors. Is this not so??? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Angie

2005 Nissan Quest Sirius Satellite Radio

I recently purchased a 2005 Nissan Quest. I'm looking for a definite answer as to with Sirius Satellite tuner is the correct model for my vehicle. I DO NOT have the 6 disk changer and that seems to play a factor in which tuner in needed. The dealer tells me I need the 999U9-NV004, but some web sites say you can only use this if you have the factory 6 disk changer. Any suggestions? I do have the factory button that says SAT.
CARGO ACCESSORIES

Just bought an 04" SE. The dealer didn't have the cargo net or head rest "case" that mount in the back on the sides. Also, only came with one remote. Anyone know where I can get these items without paying thru the nose at the dealership?
Thx, Hoey

Playing SAT radio through rear AV system only

I have a 2004 Quest. I am considering adding SAT radio. I do have two questions. If I do add a SAT radio or auxillary input to the head unit, can I play that through the rear AV system only (headphones), like the FM radio or CD? The rear AV controller has an AUX mode. Is this for the SAT radio from the head unit or is this for Auxilary input from the DVD player?

Many thanks,

QUEST NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Has anyone added an in-dash navigation system to a Quest? I just purchased a 2004 SL that doesn't have a factory nav but want to add one. I'm open to adding a factory version or after-market but I want to use the existing screen in the dash if possible.
Thanks! Hoey
